We think of the monumental task of writing life story, but have you ever thought about the small moments, and all that they hold? A memory is filled with so much more than what is remembered. The small particular things we remember hold the universal.
In our time together I will share about the process of writing memoir from small fragments of memory, and the details that memories hold. We will talk about where stories come from, and where they take us. Our time together will include readings from my work, as well as generative writing exercises for the group that we will share together. No writing experience is necessary! Just bring along paper and pens, a small object or image for a writing exercise (optional) and an open heart (not optional).
