What do we do?
We design and offer classes, programs, and workshops on a host of subjects, reflecting the interests of the Abbotsford community as a whole, and seniors and retirees in particular. Except for a very few "limited" classes, pre-registration is not necessary; you can come on the spur of the moment.
When?
All classes take place during daylight hours. Most classes are one-day programs held from 10:00 am until noon. All are affordable: usually just $5.00 per session (a bit more for some classes where registration is limited)

All our classes, unless otherwise stated, are held at:

*a few multi-part classes may be held at other locations, as stated in our brochure*
Do you have to be a member?
Of course not. For most classes, all you have to do is show up. But there are definite advantages in becoming a Learning Plus member:
- you get on our mailing list, and receive our brochures and class schedules before they're generally distributed.
- you're allowed to register ahead of the general public for classes that can take only a limited number of people.
- you're eligible to buy a semester pass and gain some real savings.
- you have a say in how Learning Plus will be conducted, having a vote at our Annual General Meeting.
Do you have to be a senior?
Not at all! Because our programs run during the day, most attendees are, in fact, seniors. But we welcome people of all ages -- including home schoolers, who occasionally visit us when there's a topic of particular interest.
What does it cost?
Just $5.00 per class, or (if you're a member) $50.00 for an entire semester. (Note that a facility fee will apply for entrance to the Abbotsford Recreation Centre, where we hold our classes. The rate depends on which ARC facilities you use, and how often. Ask at the ARC desk.)
